Their chief tactic against players is to fill them up

with free booze. Let’s face it when you get hammered

you don’t exactly think in a very logical way.

You’re emotions start controlling your brain

and you make stupid decisions —

And the casino loves that!

I had one student who was up $5000 at the roulette table

and then the casino started feeding him free drinks.

Hey, I can’t blame him he was a young guy, and who can

resist free booze? Well anyways he had over 10 people

watching him at the table, he was winning winning

and winning some more. Until he had one too many drinks.

Slowly but surely he started making stupid bets,

he quit using basic pivot strategy, he lost all

focus on money management strategy and before

you knew it he was down to his last $5.

So the moral of the story is, stay away from any

drugs or alcohol that will impair your judgement.

Gambling shouldn’t be just for fun.

Gambling is deadly serious since it’s about winning

money not losing it!

So to keep your shirt on your back, I repeat, stay

away from the free booze. If you do plan on drinking

stay away from the gambling pit, you’ll just dig

yourself deep into a hole, like a dog buries

his bone.

I always wanted to go to Monte Carlo, the beautiful scenery and the exciting casino action. Since I’m an avid poker player, I was always fascinated by the ceramic poker chip plaques I would see them pushing around on those James Bond movies. I decided to check them out for myself, to see how they play and why they use them.

Baccarat is a popular game that is played in all casinos over the world. Baccarat casino game is also played online the same way as it is played in land based casinos. The Baccarat Table

The layout of the baccarat table is simple and you can easily get used to it. Since there are only three bets with which baccarat is played, the baccarat table reflects this simplicity. On each side of the baccarat table, there are seven numbered positions. The numbers range from one to fifteen. Most baccarat tables do not have the number thirteen. Baccarat is considered to be a game of luck and therefore the unlucky number thirteen is excluded from the table. There are three betting areas at each position which corresponds to the possible choices. You have Banker spelled out on top, then you have Player spelled out underneath. There is also an area for tie bets above the other bets.

How The Game Works

Once you have made yourself familiar with the baccarat table, it is time to learn the basics of the game. The objective of baccarat casino game is to draw two or three card hands whose value is close to 9. All cards between 2-9 have the same values to their numbers. Cards with number 10 and all the face cards are worth zero and the ace cards equals 1. A hand can only have two or three cards and your aim is to get as close to 9.

The banker deals one card to the player and one to himself. Then he deals another card to the player and one more to himself. Depending on the total values of both the cards, you can either draw one more card to stay pat. If your hand value with the first two cards is less than 5, you can draw another card. You can make a stand with a value which is 6 or 7. If you have a value of 8 or 9, no further cards can be drawn. Your job is to choose which hand will win the game. This basically means that you have to guess which one of you has a hand value closest to 9.
